Book Your Hunt

Powered by ChronoForms - ChronoEngine.com

Booking a Hunt

To book a hunt, we require a 50% deposit and a signed hunt agreement. The deposit will hold your hunt dates until the license draw results. The balance is due at the time of arrival for the hunt.

Mail deposits or payments to:
Nelson Outfitters
900 Big Goose Road
Sheridan, Wyoming 82801

Or call (307) 751-2262 to pay with Credit Card.

Hunt Availability

Final availability of a hunt is on a first come first serve basis. Due to a large number of repeat clients and small hunter/guide ratio, our openings are limited.

Season dates are subject to change by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department or Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks. Nelson Outfitters has no control regarding season dates. Please book as early as possible.

Depost Refund Policy

If you are not successful in the license draw, the deposit is refunded 100%. If desired, we will hold the deposit for the next season.

Obtaining a Hunting License

To hunt in Wyoming or Montana you must apply for and receive a hunting license. Nelson Outfitters will assist with the application process. All of our Big Game hunts include the license in the hunt fee. Please contact us directly for instructions, as the process is different for both states.

All hunters must sign a "Hunt Agreement" with Nelson Outfitters and submit a 50% deposit to reserve hunt dates. All agreements and deposits must reach us before March 1st to allow us adequate time to process and submit the applications.

Our combination hunts are from 5 to 8 days. Hunter/Guide ratio is 1:1 on Trophy hunts. We do not mix groups of hunters together. If you arrive alone, you will hunt alone with a guide. Our hunts are handicap accessible. Please notify us of special needs when booking your hunt.
